The government does most everything poorly -- not just helping the homeless. That's why we need to get government out of that business and find other solutions.
ReplyDeleteOut here in San Francisco you can expect to be on the HUD list for 3 to 4 years if you try to go that way. But I've seen it go much faster in other areas. In some places where the
ReplyDeletelist has recently been scrubbed, homeless residing in a shelter who are disabled and/or a veteran can get a HUD voucher in less than a month. Anyway, good luck to you Kevin.
