Our Mission is to end homelessness.
Toward this end, the National Coalition for the Homeless (NCH) engages in public education, policy advocacy, and grassroots organizing. We focus our work in the following 4 areas: housing justice, economic justice, health care justice, and civil rights. Most recently, we launched the Bringing America Home Campaign, a comprehensive campaign to end homelessness.

With companies moving south of the border and across the ocean, more and more people downsized and outsourced out of jobs now competing for low-wage jobs with recent graduates and immigrants of higher learning and the illegal kind...I wonder what will happen to all those people that have jobs now, administering the funds for the current homeless population.
ReplyDeleteWhat happens when their is another Hurricane Katrina or tornado that flattens a town. That is "ending homeless" is a nobel goal, but I think helping homeless people is a better one.
