There is more to homeless people than being homeless.

Kevin:I enjoy the new look of your blog here at blogspot. Very clean, easy to read, and rather elegant.PipeTobacco

Hope you got my email. I am so very happy that you have allowed comments. Now I am off to read some more!
hey Kevin!I have been reading your blog for about a year now and am now going back through your archives. You have some great stuff. I actually met you in panera over Christmas Break when I was handing out blankets. All that aside, if you are looking for a good book "Irresistible Revolution" by Shane Claiborne is amazing (in all seriousness one of the best books I have ever picked up), I feel like you have a similar mindset as him. Hope all is well!
I still say that you should apply for SSI. You would have enough money to live in a residence hotel, or stay at Motel 6 for about 20 days out of each month.
I have been reading your blog for quite awhile. I have a lot of mixed feelings about your situation. I cant for the life of me understand why you want to be homeless? And dont say that you dont want to be homeless because your writing says it very clearly. About a month ago I saw that you had a job but then no more mention of it. If you really want to help yourself why dont you just try to make things work rather than whine about how homeless people are treated. There is a reason why the shelters arent that great and homey. Its because if you want a space to call your own then rent an apartment or a room!! Come on Kevin, it seems so easy to obtain. I can only assume that you are unwilling to make things better for yourself and feel that all you do is complain. Please, for yourself and for your children, pick yourself up and start making choices that will enable you to have the life that you want. The tone of this blog leads the reader to one conclusion is that this is the way you want to live.
Kevin,I am so glad that you are back on blogger...I really like the new look.Hope you are doing well. I only wish for you good things and I will keep you in my prayers :)Kimberley in Canada
Hey Kevin, good deal, and don't mind the haters. You might want to disallow the anonymous comments. That will at least discourage some of the haters by making it harder for them to 'comment and run'.
