Vacation?

Oh man, I swore I'd never stay up all night again, even if it meant going to the mission. But I did stay up all night for the Homelessness Radio Marathon. Did any of you hear it? I hope it was alright. I'm wiped out. I need a vacation. Anyone want to help me out with that? Send me to Disney World? Send me a couple bucks? You can send thing via paypal. If you have an account, you can send money to do me at my email address of thehomelessguy (at) gmail (dot) com.

Much abliged.

I'll get you back.

  1. I caught some of the homelessness marathon, but not all of it, as I left my quarters at 8PM for the WGDR FM radio studio and was there until about 11:30 PM or so. While there, we did more of a local thing cutting into the national feed during the long program segments to provide local perspective, plus I could not get online with my laptop there not matter how much I tried. Thus I missed about four hours of it, until I finally managed to get online and accessed the feed again around 12:30 AM once I settled back in, etc. Listened to most of the rest of it until I had to go to bed at 8:40 AM due to being exhausted, since I pulled an all nighter Tuesday evening and only got five hours of sleep during the day on Wednesday. What I heard of the broadcast was good. Sorry, cannot help on the Disney World end, etc., I am broke too. Hope you are able to get rested.

  2. For real. By 4am I was about ready to pass out. Finally squeezed out the door after 6 when the crowds started pouring in.

Anyway, it was good to meet you and talk with you for a bit. Maybe I'll see you around when there isn't a speaker blaring over our heads!

  4. Using the "anonymous" heading, and not taking credit for your words, is beyond pathetic.

  5. I have to agree with anon #1. You write some good stuff Kevin but always slide in with a beg at some point. This post hit the nail on the head:

When are you going to start taking some responsibility for the poor decisions you have made? You might actually start moving forward when you do. All we ever hear are excuses.

  6. Actually, I just tell it the way it is - you don't like the way it is - nothing I can do about that.
